John O'Sullivan (born September 18, 1993) is an Irish professional footballer, who currently plays as a midfielder for Blackburn Rovers F.C.'s reserve team [1]. John is the currently the captain of the Republic of Ireland under-19 football team. in 2010, at age 17, he played for the Irish under-19 team in the European finals. He scored against the Czech republic and helped the team reach the semi-finals.[2] John won the FAI under 16 international player of the year for the 2009-2010 international season [3].
John O'Sullivan was born in Birmingham, in the UK. He moved to Dublin in 1997, he lived Summerhill for 5 years and attended O'Connels Boys primary school. He joined Belvedere FC at age 7 and stayed with the club until he moved to Blackburn Rovers aged 16. He moved to Raheny, Dublin when he was 10 years old and was educated at St. Fintan's High School, which he left after four years to pursue his football career. As well as playing football, John was a talented GAA football player. He played for Raheny GAA and won an all Ireland runner-up Feile medal in the same year that he won a Kennedy Cup medal with the DDSL representative team.
